Overheard at the dinner table at the Dabney household tonight:
Nicky had just finished showing me and Jennie the "lattice" method for performing multiplications.
Nicky: "Mom, did you understand it?"
Me: "Nick, math is not mommy's strong suit."
Nicky: "Yeah, shopping is."
